These sandblasted Oak trunks are perfect for simulating underwater forest scapes. Oak is durable, takes a long time to decompose, does not release tannins or unwanted toxins into the water and its resistant to fungus is higher than other woods.
Key Features and Important Notes:
- Trunks need to be weighted down initially to prevent floating.
- Oak wood is a natural product and does not affect PH or release any unwanted pollutants into the water.
- The wood has been sandblasted and dried out in a dehydrator however, soak the wood thoroughly in boiling water before use.
- This wood does not release Tannins into the water.
