What began with a guppy tank gifted for a fifth birthday has evolved into a trusted international brand — built not by one person, but by family, friends, and fellow aquarists who share a deep love for fishkeeping.

Founded in 2011, Castle Dawn Aquatics grew from humble roots into a close-knit team working across China and Ireland. We are proud to be the only Irish-owned aquatic brand in mainland China, with physical stores in Guangdong and Hong Kong. This unique positioning allows us to work directly with manufacturers and conservation networks — while staying true to our community values.

From our early days importing blackwater species for the Chinese ornamental trade, to launching our own line of equipment, food, and accessories, we’ve always had one goal: To make reliable, affordable aquarium products accessible to fishkeepers everywhere. In 2017, we opened our doors to the world through our online store — and the global response has been incredible. It’s been a joy to help aquarists across more than 40 countries bring their underwater worlds to life.
