Shipping Timeframes:

  • UK: 3 – 7 working days

  • EU: 4 – 7 working days

  • USA & Canada: 7 – 10 working days

  • Rest of World: 10 – 14 working days

All orders ship tracked as standard. Expedited options available on request.


Sea Freight Shipping Information:

Sea freight is our most economical shipping option and typically takes 35–45 days, although delivery times may occasionally be longer due to weather, port congestion, customs procedures, vessel schedules, and other factors beyond our control.

Please note that sea freight shipments do not include tracking while the cargo is in transit at sea. Tracking will only become available once the shipment arrives at the destination port and is collected by the domestic courier responsible for the final delivery. At that point, the courier will scan the shipment into their network and tracking updates will begin to appear.

As a result, it is completely normal to receive no tracking information for several weeks while the shipment is travelling by sea. This does not indicate a delay or issue with your order.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, as sea freight remains the most cost-effective method of shipping large and heavy items internationally.


Tariffs:

  • US buyers: All tariffs included — no hidden fees.

  • UK & EU buyers: Orders ship with full customs documentation for smooth clearance.

  • We handle export paperwork and assist if extra documents are required.


Returns & Replacements:

We offer a 30-day return window from delivery.
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, we’ll replace or refund it without hassle.
Contact us first for the correct return address.

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are non-refundable unless damaged during transit:

  • Fish foods

  • Medications and treatments

  • Water additives and conditioners

  • Botanicals


Lost or Delayed Orders:

If tracking shows no movement for 15 days (UK/EU) or 20 days (international), contact us. We investigate and resend or refund as needed.


Our Promise:

If something goes wrong, we fix it. That’s been our approach since 2011.


Order Cancellations:

Orders already in transit cannot be cancelled, but may be returned following the Returns Policy.


Import Customs:

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any products you purchase comply with your country’s import regulations and customs requirements. Castle Dawn Aquatics is not liable for any delays, losses, fees, charges, or rejections caused by customs inspections or import restrictions.

If your order is refused or held by customs, the responsibility for resolving the issue rests entirely with you, the customer.

You are fully responsible for any customs fees, import duties, tariffs, taxes, or other charges levied by your country’s customs authority.

Castle Dawn Aquatics is not liable for any customs delays, losses, fees, charges, or rejections.
