Our pre-carbon cartridges use coconut carbon which removes chlorine, odours, and heavy metals making water safe for aquarium use. The quick-connect feature makes the cartridge usable in most standard RO (Reverse osmosis) units, allowing you to easily build your own economical system to meet your aquarium inhabitants' needs.
