NITRIFIER instantly establishes a biofilter in a new aquarium setup but this does not mean you should go out and buy fish the same day. The aquarium needs time to go through a cycling phase to ensure a well-established bacteria culture within the aquarium. We know there are a lot of products out there claiming you can add fish instantly after use, which is possible even with our product but you are taking a huge risk in doing so. If the bioload from the fish is too much for the bacteria it can cause ammonia and nitrite spikes which can be detrimental to your new fish. Take your time, give your tank a week or two to get settled, test your water with a reliable test kit and take it from there, once your water parameters are good, add a couple of fish and build your aquarium stocking levels up slowly.
