Large Kurrajong Pods (15 Pack)
Kurrajong Pods are one of our favourite botanicals, perfect for elevating the aesthetics of a blackwater aquarium. Not only do they add visual appeal, but they also create great hideaways for smaller fish and shrimp. While native to Australia, and therefore not suitable for biotopes specific to other regions, these pods can still add a unique touch to your blackwater setup.Â
TIP: Kurrajong Pods tend to close up when submerged. To prevent this, boil them and then place them in the freezer for 24 hours—this should mostly keep them from closing up in your aquarium.
