Our Forest Floor Leaf Litter Packs are designed to replicate the rich, layered look of a natural forest riverbed. Each pack contains a diverse mix of colours, textures, and shapes, with over 10 different species of leaves in every pack. Mixed among the leaves, you may also find natural botanicals such as acorns, magnolia stems, and fine roots.

This carefully curated mix allows you to create a truly authentic blackwater aquarium, mimicking the natural debris found in tropical streams and flooded forests. As the leaves break down, they release beneficial tannins and humic substances while promoting biofilm growth, creating a living, evolving ecosystem for shrimp, fish, and bottom dwellers.
