Asian Cedar Leaves (50 Pack)
Asian Cedar Leaves are one of our most popular aquarium botanical leaves, valued for both their striking appearance and functional benefits in blackwater aquariums. Their deep red tones and elongated shape add a bold, natural contrast to biotope aquascapes, making them especially popular in Asian-inspired blackwater and shrimp setups.
Traditionally used in parts of Asia for their anti-inflammatory properties, these leaves are widely regarded as beneficial in natural environments. While the transfer of these properties to aquatic life is not scientifically confirmed, aquarists consistently report improved natural behaviour and strong biofilm development when used in blackwater aquariums.
These leaves release a moderate level of tannins, making them ideal for aquarists seeking a softer tint and more stable pH without heavy darkening of the water.
Tannins Released: Medium
All our leaves are organically sourced, completely free from harmful pesticides, and collected only after falling naturally from the tree.
Our leaves are cosmetically varied, exactly as nature intended. Colour, shape, size, and surface texture will naturally vary.
