Umbrella Bamboo Leaf Litter (50 Pack)
Umbrella Bamboo Leaves are a refined botanical choice for aquarists looking to create authentic blackwater or clear-water biotope aquariums. While these leaves may appear crisp and delicate when dry, they soften and expand once submerged, taking on a fuller, more natural form within the aquarium.
With a milder tannin release compared to Catappa or Papyrus leaves, Umbrella Bamboo Leaves are ideal for aquarists who want subtle water tinting while still benefiting from natural biofilm development. Freshwater shrimp, fry, and bottom-dwelling fish readily graze on the biofilm that forms on the leaf surface, making them both decorative and functional.
These leaves naturally fall from the plant and are collected without chemical processing, preserving their structure and biological value.
