Whole Trumpet Cariniana Pods (10 Pack)

Cariniana Pods are another favourite of ours when designing blackwater aquariums, it is one of those blackwater botanicals that you look at and immediately think of the Amazon basin. Their small openings make them a perfect spawning location for small South American species such as Apistogramma. 

Although not native to their natural habitat, Cariniana Pods work well as shelters for smaller wild Betta species, such as the coccina complex. Especially when keeping small groups of the species together where multiple hideaways are the success for cohabitation.
